Responsibilities: Financial Accountant
The continued growth of the company and amalgamation has resulted in an opportunity to add a financial accountant into the finance team, this opportunity is a new role joining a team of four people while working with our larger finance teams, colleagues in the UK and internationally.
The Finance Accountant will be responsible for a range of reporting, controls plus hands-on accounting while also supporting the finance manager with the preparation of statutory accounts, internal & external audit requirements, process improvement plus ad hoc tasks and projects.
Key Accountabilities: Financial Accountant
Financial Accounting
* Lease Accounting IFRS 16
* Group Reporting
* FX Hedge Accounting IFRS9
* Ongoing compliance with IFRS especially IFRS 15
Monitoring Controls
* Ownership of Balance Sheet Control and Reconciliation Process
* Performance of Centre of Excellence including Accounts Receivable, Payable and Payment processing
* Support of group annual control self-certification process
Preparation of Statutory accounts plus liaising with Auditors
* Drafting from trial balance
* Co-ordination of local audit testing
* Compliance Representative for the entity
* Responsible for Company Insurance renewals process and key point of contact.
* Support group quarterly audit test and reviews
