Salary: £27,600 – £36,000 per year
Management / Financial Accountant
Amoria Bond is an international, fast growing service company based in South Manchester and we are currently searching for a 360 degree Management/Financial Accountant to start work as soon as possible. The successful candidate will ideally have a general background in book keeping through to production of management accounts, in an international environment, and is now looking for a step up into a new phase in their career.
You will report directly into the Finance Controller and Finance Director. The duties and responsibilities will include:
Core experience required
* Multi-currency accounting
* Accounting across multiple Profit Centres
* Overseas VAT reconciliation and returns
* Consolidation (Multiple companies)
* Preparing journals (Drs / Crs)
* Intercompany journals & intercompany loan accounts
* Bookkeeping to Trial Balance
* Purchase Ledger / Payment runs
* Credit Cards posting & reconciliation
* Bank reconciliation & revaluation
* Accruals & Prepayments
* Fixed Assets
* Sales / COS reconciliation
* Balance Sheet management & reconciliation of control accounts
* Preparing Management reports – P&L / BS
* Reviewing reports & producing commentary
* Must have advanced excel skills & be comfortable building new models
Other experience desirable
* A good knowledge of Microsoft Word and database management would be useful
* Use of a complex accounting/ERP system (Access Dimensions, MS Dynamics, SAP)
* Experience in the Professional Services or Recruitment Sector.
* Amoria Bond is an international company so language skills, particularly Dutch or German are always in demand.
* Experience of working in a fast moving, sales driven environment, where you will be used to multi-tasking and handling various internal and external stakeholders.
