They pride themselves on achieving a high quality learning experience for every student. They are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and outstanding Lecturer to teach level 3 and vocational courses. The main purpose of this role is to assist students to develop their skills and reach their maximum potential through the delivery of courses and contributing to the development of Sixth Form curriculum and student experience.

As a Business Lecturer your main duties will include:

* To undertake an agreed teaching commitment that develops students’ knowledge, skills and understanding.
* To plan, prepare and deliver a range of lessons maintaining a high quality learning environment.
* To provide timely assessments, appropriate feedback and recording of students’ progress, development and attainment in order that students understand how to improve their learning.
* To contribute to the achievement of retention and success targets for courses that you teach.
* To participate in arrangements for performance review and staff development activities and events.

To be considered for this role you must have:

* Degree in a relevant subject
* Certificate in Education or equivalent
* English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent

Applicants will have current experience of teaching A Level and/or Level 3 Business as well as teaching in a School Sixth Form or FE College environment with students 16 – 18 year olds. It is important that applicants have up to date knowledge of subject area, syllabus, and teaching methods. Experience of using ILT to enhance teaching and learning is also an essential practice.
