Operations Manager

Salary: £72,000 – £84,000 per year

My leading engineering client based in the Fens are experiencing a huge period of growth, and have a fantastic order book for 2022 already.
Following a period of investment, and the restructure of the businesses within its group, they are looking for the next critical hire into the leadership team tasked with guiding the business through the aggressive growth planned over the coming months.

As Operations and Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for all production and business improvement related activities across the companies four main manufacturing sites.
Taking leadership on developing manufacturing processes and procedures, lean and continuous improvement activities, production planning and scheduling and training and leading a team of production management professionals responsible for nearly 200 highly skilled and motivated staff.

Reporting into the General Manager, you will be degree educated or possess professional qualifications to match your leadership experience, along with extensive experience in driving continuous improvement projects using tools such as Lean, SixSigma and CI. A background in engineering and manufacturing complex high value/low volume products is essential, preferably within a fabrication and assembly business or sector.
