Position: Graduate Business Development Executive – Social Media

Location: City of London

Salary: £26,000 per year+ Uncapped Commission (Realistic 1st year OTE £35k / 2nd year OTE £50k)

The Company

My client is a multi-national media sales company, highly regarded in the media industry and listed as one of The Times Top 100 Companies. You’ll be joining a hugely successful team selling social media products and services to global brands and prestigious companies worldwide.

The Role

Aiming to maximise our client’s brand awareness and profitability, you will undertake a wide variety of account management activities, including using effective outbound selling techniques to generate leads. The business development executive must organize client meetings, lunches and events and during these must be able to establish the client’s needs. To ensure the delivery of a high level of customer service, you will also attend trade shows and demonstration days, as well as visiting customer sites.

In return, they provide the best training available in the media sales industry, close support from experienced mentors and previous years’ graduate executives, and an excellent platform with existing clients and all of the information that you need. A starting salary of between £26,000 – 22,000 is complimented by an uncapped commission scheme and fantastic bonuses.

Requirements as a Graduate Trainee

• 2:1 from a good university
• Competitive nature
• Confident and articulate
• Intelligent & Fast learner
• Motivated and tenacious
• Sales experience an advantage e.g. B2C, B2B, D2D, fundraising, promotion work.
