COMPANY INFORMATION: Our client is a global cleantech company operating in energy from waste (EfW) and renewable gas.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Basic diploma or equivalent in office administration or facilities
- Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC), Safepass (ROI), CSCS or CCNSG card or equivalent
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite applications
- Good social skills and reputation for integrity
- Takes responsibility for ensuring best outcomes
- Able to communicate at all levels
COMPETENCIES:
- Solution orientated
- Good forward planner
- Ability to present ideas effectively
- Good command of English, other languages an advantage
- The role generally receives no instruction on work and acts independently to determine methods and ability to work with limited supervision
- Construction experience an advantage but not essential
ROLE INFORMATION:
- The primary role is to act as assistant to the Site Manager and to ensure the site welfare compound is maintained to a high standard
- Acts as office administrator for the site including office supplies, filing, organisation of travel, recording and storing of documentation
- Provides full administrative support to the Site Manager
- Welcomes visitors and clients including arranging catering as required
- Develops and co-ordinates business review reports in conjunction with Site Manager
- Keeps track of leave requests and absences
- Creates and adapts documents and templates
- Is responsible for the safety and HSE performance of all personnel under their control, and for stopping work where this might be compromised
- Is involved in setup and dismantling of site infrastructure and managing site infrastructure in a safe and suitable condition during project duration
- Co-ordinates regular maintenance and repair works of site infrastructure (e.g. temporary construction power, printer, etc.) with contractors and staff on site
- Creates operational procedures (access regulations, traffic regulations, etc.) in relation to site infrastructure
- Co-ordinates waste management on site and ensures it is carried out in accordance with Site Waste Management Plan requirements
