Salary: £33,000 – £38,400 per year

1-Fix are a growing IT managed service provider (MSP) who support over 75 clients with their IT support, along with providing guidance, consultancy and IT project support.

We have a great opportunity for the right individual to join our growing IT support team as a 2nd line IT support engineer.

Reporting to our Operations Manager, you will be working with the technical team in delivering excellent IT support and service to our clients, helping to ensure both individual and team SLAs are met.

The technical skills we need you to have are:

* Strong knowledge of support and troubleshooting for Windows Server 2012/16/19 including:

* Active Directory

* Group Policy

* Domains

* File / Print service

* DNS

* Windows desktop troubleshooting skills (Windows 7/8/10)

* Microsoft 365 configuration, installation, and support

* Sharepoint set-up and site migration

* Exchange (M365) administration and migration

* Microsoft Teams and Teams Voice Calling

* Hyper-V / Virtualisation

* Physical to cloud server migration

* Hardware repairs/ troubleshooting / installation

* Experience of working with a service desk ticketing system (Connectwise Manage ideal, but not essential)

Desirable but not essential technical skills are:

* Experience of Microsoft Azure

* Experience of Datto backup solutions

* Experience of Connectwise Manage & Control

* Experience of Skykick E-mail Migration tools

Experience in a prior IT Service Desk role is essential. You should be used to working to agreed deadlines, be methodical & organised and have excellent time management and attention to detail.

All education levels will be considered. The right candidate will have great personality/attitude, attention to detail and the ability to work under varying levels of workload as the service desk can be unpredictable.

The standard working hours are Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30, based from home at present due to the UK lockdown, but once we return to work you will be based primarily in our beautiful rural Finchampstead office. You may also be required to work on client sites and from home, so a car or other motorised transport is essential.

Occasional overtime is available and offered on a voluntary basis.
