Maintenance Operative – Electrical Bias

Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year

Revolution Resourcing is searching for a Maintenance Operative in Manchester.
This vacancy can be temporary or permanent.

My client, a market leader in Construction & Property Management are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Operative with an electrical bias.

This opportunity will be based at one of their luxury, purpose-built commercial/residential buildings in Manchester.

Working Hours

* Monday – Friday (Rota’d shift basis)

* Saturday – 08:00 – 17:00 with a day off in lieu

* 40 hours per week

* 08:00 – 17:00 OR 09:00 – 18:00

* Overtime available

Duties

* Monitor onsite contracts and work.

* Planned and reactive maintenance including testing (Fire alars, lighting etc)

* Patrols the building to identify any H&S risks.

* Record, log and monitor any maintenance issues that are reported by customers

* Ensure that maintenance records are kept up to date

* Adherence to H&S policy ensuring that Risk Assessments and Method Statements are obtained/maintained and that safe system of work is followed, including Permit to Work and hot works permits

* Undertake scheduled flat inspections

* General repairs – reception areas, bathrooms, customer flats, common areas, kitchens

Must-Have

* Electrical background, preferably JIB

* Previous experience in maintenance OR installation in a commercial or residential environment

* Good understanding of H&S regulations

* IT skills (Microsoft office packages)
