Are you a Structural designer who is looking for a prestigious contract to work as part of a multi-disciplined design team on a major Subsea, Marine and nuclear Projects?

The company delivers its specialist Consultancy, Design and Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning expertise from Global offices in London, Aberdeen, Portsmouth and Tyneside and its client base takes in the Marine, Defence, Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy markets.

In this role you will be responsible to provide design of mechanical structures and also be expected to prepare detailed structural calculations and reports.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience, preferably in the oil and gas, Subsea, Marine, nuclear or heavy engineering industry.

Experience of participating in teams of structural or mechanical engineers and designers, monitoring work to ensure technical design and standards are attained, project targets and agreed schedules are met and budgetary constraints are not exceeded.

The role:
*Structural / Mechanical designer
*To support the design of heavy Structures
*To prepare detailed structural calculations and reports
*To provide technical support in the design of heavy machinery

The person:
*Structural designer with Oil and Gas, Marine, Heavy engineering
*To have 5years plus experience in a similar role
*Degree in Structural engineering or equivalent
*Relevant experience ideally in Oil and Gas industry or other heavy engineering
