Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Days)

Salary: £26,000 per year

Due to business growth, we are recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to work for a leading Facilities Management company on a prestigious static site near Westminster, Central London.

You will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks on a day to day basis throughout the site including plumbing and HVAC works. The successful candidate will have previous experience in Mechanical maintenance within commercial environments. This role is Mechanically biased but electrical qualifications would be advantageous.

Candidates must be time served and qualified in a mechanical discipline.

Hours – Mon – Friday 7.30AM – 4.30PM + No On Call!

OT is paid at premium rates at 40 hour – Realistic Earning potential £6,000 – £12,000

Candidates must be able to obtain an enhanced security check to secure this role so a clean criminal record is a must

Responsibilities

– PPM maintenance

– Reactive maintenance

– Carry out test, servicing, diagnostic, repairs on mechanical installations

– Work safely and in accordance to Health and Safety procedures

– Perform maintenance tasks and other associated tasks on any part of the site as and when required

– Operate as part of an effective professional maintenance team

Skills & Attributes

– Time Served Engineer with demonstrable experience in a Mechanical maintenance role.

– 17th / 18th Edition qualified ( Advantageous)

– City and Guilds, BTEC, NVQ equivalent qualifications

– Experience preferably in a similar Facilities Management / Building Services back ground

– Trustworthy and reliable

– Able to obtain enhanced security clearance
