Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical Fitter needed to work on the build and test of pressurised components
Must have apprenticeship or NVQ 3

The role is offered on a contract basis lasting 3 months +.
The basic rate is £24 ltd per hour, however you will be required to work a shift (either, late or nights) for which the rate is up to £26.50 ltd on the completion of product training.

You will be conducting the final assembly of large components for the aerospace industry. You will then perform pressure testing to insure they are fit for purpose.
Previous experience that will be considered includes building and testing of pressure valves and vacuum pumps.
Bench fitting and assembly
Building and testing hydraulic systems
Strip down and build of gearboxes
