About the role
If you desire joining a growing organisation that is racing towards Digital Construction? Then, we think it is a pretty exciting time to join United Living especially as a document controller as we are in the process of rolling out our new document control system (Aconex), we are looking at rolling out BIM software and we are well on our way to being a £0.5bn business by 2020.
We are looking for our first document controller to join our newly formed United City Living on a scheme in Salford, we start construction in January and we due to be on site for 2 years.
As a document controller you will be the one who is managing the flow of information and its correct exchange route. Your team will rely on you, so they are everything and your support will help them grow and succeed.
You will work very closely with the likes of Design managers, Project Manager, Site Managers, Consultants and Sub-Contractors your role is to manage Documentation reliability for Security, Revision control, availability accuracy and auditability to ensure compliance with organisations management processes, quality assurance and ISO requirements.
About you
To succeed in this role you will need to have demonstrable experience of working in a document control position, ideally for a residential construction company. If you have experience of working with Aconex that would be a real advantage but we would consider candidates that have experience of working with other document management systems. Due to the nature of this position you will need to have excellent team work skills, due to the team size initially everybody involved with the scheme will be rolling their sleeves up and going above and beyond their job description
