Assistant Accountant

Salary: £30,000 – £33,600 per year

Do you have accounts / finance experience and are looking for a new challenge?

The main purpose of the role is to control the purchase and sales ledger as well as providing support to the finance manager and credit controller.
Main Duties of the role include –

• Responsible for the update and control of the creditors ledger and sales ledger in Opera
• Supplier invoice and credit note processing
• Reconciliation of supplier statements monthly
• Preparation of payment runs as required
• Month end closure of 4 x ledgers
• Assisting with P&L reporting monthly
• New supplier set up application forms

 
The ideal candidate will be proactive and able to work on own initiative as well as part of a small team. Be professional at all times, have at least 2 years accounts experience and be familiar with Opera.
