Salary: £33,600 – £55,200 per year
Mid-level and Senior Product Designer – £33,600 – £55,200 DOE – Somerset (Relocation assistance on offer) – Electro-mechanical
My client is an exciting electro-mechanical product manufacturer based in Somerset. Due to continued success and expansion, they’re looking for designers at both intermediate and senior level to join the team.
Main Duties:
+ Design and engineering input across the full product lifecycle
+ Lead and participate in electromechanical design & development
+ Assist in prototyping and testing
+ Continuous improvement activities
+ Collaboration with other design engineers
Skills and experience required:
+ Minimum 2 years’ experience in design – 5+ for senior level
+ Strong CAD (SolidWorks)
+ Demonstrable understanding of design for manufacture (plastics & sheet metal)
+ Experience designing complex mechanical assemblies
+ CAE & Stress experience desirable
The salary will have a broad range dependent on experience, with the company also offering some strong benefits like a compressed 4-day week and relocation assistance.
