CNC Sliding Head Setter Operator
Our client in Christchurch is looking to add a skilled CNC Sliding Head Machinist to their team. Ideally you will be able to programme. However, if you have strong Setting skills, full training can be provided to the right person. This company is well-established and growing. They pride themselves on upskilling their staff and providing training when required in a professional but enjoyable work environment with good leadership.
Producing high precision components for leading companies in various industries including aerospace, marine, medical, defence, oil, automotive. An up to date and modern machining facility.
CNC Sliding Head Operator Experience
- setting and operating sliding head machines Citizen L20 (all sliding head experience considered)
- Experience programming CNC Sliding Head Machines will be advantageous but training can be given
- Experience working with a variety of materials
- Able to make edits to programmes
- Competent reading/ understanding engineering drawings
- Experience with offline programming software would be advantageous.
- Working with a variety of batch work anything from 1 off to 200 off.
