Secondary school Administrator needed to start at the end of January in Bradford

This Secondary School Academy in Bradford are looking for an administrator to cover an interim role, there is a possibility for the right candidate the role will go permanent. The role is directly reporting to the HR Manager and the Head Teacher of the academy, although there is a team of administrators in this busy Bradford secondary school.

The role will require an organised, methodical and level headed individual as distractions from pupils can be frequent.
The duties of the position are listed below:
experience of the recruitment process
Sims- not essential but an advantage
Reception duties: meeting and greeting visitors, signing them in, providing refreshments where needed
Answering the telephone, transferring calls, taking messages
Typing letters to parents
Short hand meeting notes and typing up minutes
Data entry and management – using Excel spreadsheets
Petty cash management
Ordering and receiving goods
Payment of invoices
Any other duties where required

Skills and experience required:
Previous administration experience working within a School is desirable
Sims experience is desirable
Experience of all the above duties
The ability to work to own initiative
Organised, methodical manner
Approachable manner
Professional and well presented
Able to act as visitors first point of contact
Able to provide good customer service
