Store Manager – Ftse 250 Retailer

My client is a FTSE 250 retail business operating in excess of 800 stores throughout the UK.

Due to continued investment and further growth plans for next year we are delighted to be assisting them in the recruitment of a number of new Store Managers and Assistant Managers to support their strategic future development.

The role:

As a Store Manager you will be accountable to the Area Manager for effectively managing your store by meeting sales targets, delivering excellent customer service and motivating and developing your team while maintaining a high level of store standards, driving stock availability, and adhering to Company policy and procedures.

About you:

To be successful in the application for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• A proven background in a fast paced, customer driven retail management position

• Good commercial acumen – confident in managing stock availability and driving sales and cost control

• The ability to train and develop others and proven manager of large teams of people

• An engaging, passionate and positive attitude who inspires and encourages colleague buy in and knows how to reward great performance.
