Health & Safety Officer

My client is one of the UK’s largest manufacturer’s of short shelf life products supplying in all of the major multiples

Due to their continued growth and expansion plans they are now looking to recruit a number of Health and Safety Officer for their site based in Bedfordshire

You will be required to support the group Health and Safety strategies to ensure safety, health and welfare at this site. You will work with the senior management to improve standards and reduce non-compliance on the site. Walking the floor and giving hands on training will be essential in this role.

Ideal candidates should have worked within a similar role previously preferably within a Food Manufacturing or manufacturing environment. You should also have NEBOSH certification and membership of IOSH. You should also have the ability undertake audits and work independently.
