Salary: £26,000 per year

Office Angels are currently recruiting for a Project Support Officer to join a City Centre based company for a period of 6 months (with a potential extension of 3 months) The candidate will work 4 days a week (30 hours) with a Salary: of £26,000per year.

The purpose of the role is to provide support to the Project Board and Project Team by ensuring that all administrative tasks in relation to delivery of the multiple project strands are undertaken and to create and maintain clear and auditable project files. Support coordinating the team, which is made up of eight people, will be one of the key deliverables for this project.

KEY TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Organisation and coordination of project resources
* Maintenance of project files and records (paper and electronic).
* Arrange meetings liaising with multiple local and national stakeholders.
* Arrange weekly team meetings including preparing and circulating team agendas, supporting papers and minutes
* Preparation and circulation of Project Board papers
* Copying and circulating key project documents.
* Overseeing the project timetable/project plan, ensuring team members are aware of upcoming deadlines and have access to relevant information.
* Support the development and update the project plans as directed.
* Update and maintains register of risks, issues, dependencies, and action and assumptions logs. Where necessary request updates and ensures that they are received in timely fashion. Monitors, escalates and/or chase as required
* Assists in the administration of processes as required by the Project Coordinator.
* Maintains audit trails in accordance with ERDF regulatory guidance.
* Assists with the collation of auditable reports and presentation of data and communications for different stakeholder audiences
* Act as Secretariat to all relevant Board / Steering Committee meetings

REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

* Outstanding communication and organisation skills.
* Good MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
* Experience of working in complex Programme Environments
* Good understanding of project management methodology and project life-cycle
* Experience of working in a fast-paced change environment
* Effective meeting participation and minute taking
* Able to work to tight deadlines with competing demands
* Collaborative and supportive style
* Experience of working within public funding regimes, including ERDF, would be beneficial.

This is a temporary role for a period of 6 months with a possible 3 month extension, working 4 days a week in a city centre based office.
