Trade Counter Advisor

Salary: £27,600 – £32,400 per year

Zachary Daniels are working together with a well-known and respected retail and trade business who want to recruit a new Trade Counter Advisor for their busy trade and showroom branch. We want an advisor who can work with local traders, construction companies and businesses to deliver great service.

We will offer full product training but a passion for construction/home improvements/DIY/trades is required. You will be a natural communicator who can develop relationships with clients and ensure they provide a first-class service.

As a Trade Counter Advisor you will be able to work in a customer focused environment, be able to build great partnerships and sell products clients need at a great price.

Key Responsibilities as a Trade Counter Advisor

Creating a positive and professional environment for all customers and businesses
Maximising all opportunities for achieving sales on all products
Understanding the competition and demonstrating how are we different
Dealing with all customer queries as professionally and quickly as possible
Effectively and safely managing all Stock
Identifying and contacting potential customers to open new accounts
Always working with the company’s best interests in mind; following all policies and procedures
Building strong working relationships with the rest of the teamSkills and Experience needed as a Trade Counter Advisor

Experience of working in or passion for DIY/Construction/Design
Experience of working in sales/and or targeted environment
Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
Confident over the telephone
Great team player
Ideally previous experience in a similar role but this is not essential
Flexible approach to working weekends and bank holidays
Fork lift truck experience (desirable but not essential as full training provided)This is a great opportunity for someone with the ambition and drive to succeed in a busy and fast paced role.
