Salary: £31,200 – £42,000 per year
The Company:
Our client is a Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in North Somerset offering a first-class service to their clients in both planning, developing and supporting their IT systems. Their services cover helpdesk, monitoring, strategic reviews, training, cyber security and much more. They are proud to work with their clients on a one-to-one basis to ensure their clients have a reliable and appropriate IT platform for today and for years to come.
The Job:
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced IT support specialist technician to join their team. Our client has a diverse customer base primarily in the Bristol and surrounding areas, they work with many companies and individuals across a broad business spectrum. Within the role you will have a real variety in your work, dealing with customers at all levels to help then with their technical issues, this could be in the office or onsite and will involve working with third party software or hardware suppliers and other members of the team.
Due to the location and nature of the work transport is essential but there are company Vans available for site visits. There may be an expectation to work additional hours that may be deemed necessary to ensure our clients service levels are maintained.
The Person:
For this opportunity, it’s essential you have extensive IT support experience preferably with Comp Tia and some basic Microsoft certification. You will also have extensive knowledge and experience of current and past Microsoft software for both PC’s and servers. You will also need to understand Virtual environments, Group Policy, AD, Exchange, networking and communications. In addition to this, experience with a PSA ticketing system is essential (Autotask would be nice) plus the ability to self-manage and work as part of a strong team.
