We are looking for a Peripatetic General Manager to join our management team.
Salary: £72,000

Role description
To ensure this happens, our General Managers have to undertake a role that is multi-faceted. Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, the Peripatetic General Manager will be expected to;
Deliver highly effective operational management as required across our homes, and will work to ensure homes continue to be run effectively whilst dealing with a number of challenges and opportunities as they arise.
Engage in coaching General Managers who are developing in role.
Be flexible, both with location of work and the type of challenges that arise in the role.
Contribute to companywide strategic projects.
The Peripatetic General Manager will also be expected to take on day to day general manager duties across our homes which include, but are not limited to; Overseeing care delivery management, revenue/sales leadership and people development.
Role Responsibilities
The Peripatetic General Manager will have proven experience of home management is a must and will be supported with a relevant qualification.
The Peripatetic General Manager will have the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and effectively are essential, as well as working closely with various management teams ensuring the highest standards are achieved in all areas of the homes. Other requirements are as follows;
Previous experience in the healthcare or long-term care industry
Great commercial acumen
Experience managing large teams of people
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Strong planning and organisation skills
Ability to build rapport with people, and display empathy and sensitivity where appropriate
Passion for service to the elderly
In turn you will need to lead from the front, inspire your employees by promoting excellence and equality throughout the home whilst demonstrating strong management skills with passion and empathy.
