Assistant General Manager Boutique Fitness Club

Salary: £30,000 – £31,200 per year

I am recruiting for a fantastic leisure job in Brighton & Hove for a high end Fitness and Wellness Members Club. This is an incredibly exciting Leisure Management business. I am looking for an Assistant General Manager. This is a leisure job not to be missed.

As an Assistant General Manager you will very much be the face of the business. The successful candidate will have operational experience within the Leisure and potentially Hospitality sectors. You will be an enthusiastic leader, commercially astute and a focused customer service individual. You will have a track record working in premium innovative environments and a real passion for service.

You will have experience of catering for a high-end client base in a boutique environment. The brand has an exercise ethos based around re-awakening everyday functional movement in a guided environment, whether through members’ classes or guided exercise on the Gym floor. The Spa, Café and Lounges provide space to relax, re-invigorate and meet with friends.

You will be driven by delivering an amazing experience to the members in an environment where no 2 days are the same. This position requires initiative, attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, and superb communication skills. You need to have a hands-on, can-do attitude with excellent communication skills. You will have fitness knowledge, the ability to coach and deliver classes to the members, whilst also being able to work in different areas of a multi faceted environment.

This is an ideal position for a smart, motivated individual. Ideally, you will have experience of working in the leisure, hospitality or leisure industry. However, we would be more than happy to consider candidates with significant experience from other customer facing industries.
