1:1 Teaching Assistant

Salary: £26,000 per year

Academics are workng with an Oftsed rated Oustanding School in Warrington. They have asked us to source a passionate and hardworking Teachign Assistant to work on a 1:1 / 1:2 basis with two children in their Year 2 class. Both children requrie additional support in helping them to achieve their goals within the curriculum.

A Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent would be a bonus but is not a pre-requisitie, and the same can be said for a Team Teach or similar qualification

Excellent behaviour management and varied de-escalation strategies will be a must, and you will have varied techniques to ensure the engagement of the child and to help them to progress rowards expected attainment levels.

Ideally our 1:1 Teaching Assistant will have experience with any of the following:

• SEMH
• EBSD and challenging behaviour,
• ASD,
• Learning difficulties (dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, global delay)
• Physical difficulties.
