Teaching Assistant

Vision for Education is seeking enthusiastic and committed candidates to join our agency that would welcome the potential opportunity to work in a classroom setting within schools in your area. We currently have a vacancy for a Wallsend based primary school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and positive full time Teaching Assistant to join a passionate, friendly and hardworking team.

Teaching Assistant roles and responsibilities:

Assisting the classroom teacher.
Working with small groups and 1:1 support.
Supporting literacy and numeracy.
Help manage pupil behavior.
Support the development and effectiveness of work teams.
Help pupils to access the curriculum.
Liaise effectively with parents.The role is set to start ASAP, and will run on for 6 weeks but may go on. The candidate will be working full time from Monday to Friday.

Vision for Education believe that our teachers and teaching assistants should be kept up to date with the latest training and development and as such we offer all our teachers and teaching assistants FREE CPD. Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
