TimePlan are currently looking for friendly, enthusiastic and dynamic candidates to work in upcoming teaching assistant roles in several of our primary and secondary schools in the East London area in the new academic year. Part time availability of 3-4 days will be considered, though full time availability (Monday – Friday) is preferential.

The roles will begin from September onwards, with a choice of daily work (temporary work on a day to day basis in one or more schools), short term and long term placements (of up one whole academic year) and these can either be on a full time of part time basis.

School hours generally run from 8.30 – 3.30 with a daily Salary: of £26,000for daily work and £63 for placements of 6 weeks or more.

Suitable candidates need to have experience working with children or young people either in a classroom or similar setting within the last year. A minimum qualification of Level 3 in the following qualifications – CACHE / NVQ / NCFE / BTEC or ABC is required, or alternatively higher (i.e to degree level).

Requirements

* Successful candidates need to hold the minimum required qualifications.
*Have experience working with children or young people within the last year.
* Have the right to work in the UK
* Be available to start immediately
* Have minimum 3-4 days availability per week.
* Be able to present two recent professional references and be available for a face to face interview.
