Location: Daresbury Laboratory, Warrington, Cheshire

We have an exciting opportunity for a strong Administrator to join the team and provide proactive and professional support to Daresbury Estates Services Maintenance team, ensuring a consistent and effective service is delivered and appropriately actioned.

Corporate and Estates Responsibilities

As a member of STFC’s Estates and Facilities Management team, the post holder will proactively support the Estates Services remit to deliver flexible, customer focused and efficient services that support the delivery of STFC’s vision, values and objectives. The Estates Services team needs to be agile and able to adapt to the ever changing needs of our diverse customer base. Therefore, it is expected that the post holder will demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach.

The successful candidate will be accountable

To act as the primary point of contact for DL Estates Services Maintenance team
To manage and oversee compliance administration ensuring data is correctly captured and uploaded; this will include pressure certification, lifting equipment and local exhaust ventilation records
Provide support to Maintenance Manager in preparation of maintenance led meetings
Assist the Maintenance Manager in the collation of Legionella TVCC sample/lab report data, tap temperatures, defects log and other documentation supporting water management and quarterly audits.
Capturing of Water Risk Assessment actions and uploading into the Estates Services Helpdesk
Work with the Maintenance Team to develop and manage compliance preventative planned maintenance evidence Grab Packs and Building Log books for each building on site
To provide support in the capturing and inputting of site meter readings for all utilities on site, extending to energy management reporting
Management of the site ABUS key database to ensure accurate records are held for the allocation of site keys
To produce monthly highlight/headline MI data reports outline and compliance or performance issues for escalation to the Estates Services Management team
To work with the Estates Compliance Officer to ensure that all H&S documentation and associated processes are comprehensive and consistent
Support and develop central document storage systems for Estates Services operational activities e.g. RAMS, Permit to Work
To interrogate and extract data from building condition and legislation survey database to create and manage packages of work
Provide support in the procurement and sourcing of sundry items/services to enable maintenance tasks ensuring value for money
Adhere to all departmental procedures and Standing Instructions
Champion the Estates Services in a positive manner
Any other reasonable management request to extend the duties of this role
The above duties will require limited travel and may involve occasional overnight staysAbout you

will have a GCSE level education (or equivalent)

You will need to be highly organised, with an accurate eye for detail and the ability to handle a busy workload.

Preferably have experience of working in an Estates environment

Have excellent IT in Microsoft Office
