Salary: £42,000 OTE (Basic of £42,000 per year plus commission)

Our prestigious client is now looking to recruit a field based Account Manager.

Job Overview

Primarily a field based target driven B2B sales role. Generating sales revenue through the development of new customers, providing quotations and proposals in order to meet the customer requirements. You will maintain the excellent relationship already built up with existing customers and maximise business opportunities where needed.

Role Responsibilities

• Prospecting, cold calling, qualifying/identifying new business opportunities in line with agreed KPIs
• Attend surveys and meetings in order to provide quotations and contract proposal
• Following up & keeping detailed records of new leads resulting from field activity via CRM
• Build pipeline, associated administration duties
• Manage own diary, source leads, identify prospects meet clients offering portfolio of company services and products
• Maximise the potential of all opportunities via solution based selling
Candidate Requirements
• B2B “New Sales experience” with the ability to explore, identify and close opportunities
• Must be able to provide evidence of sales achievements
• Enthusiastic natural self-starter, confident with developing new opportunities from scratch
• Persuasive character able to negotiate strongly without jeopardising a positive outcome
• Strong minded hunter attitude making logical and well thought out decisions
• Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure without compromise
• Energetic and can do attitude from a person who communicates effectively and confidently with clients and colleagues at all levels
• IT Skills – must be IT literate CRM, Word, Excel, Outlook
