Laboratory Support Technician

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Our client is seeking a laboratory Support technician to maintain adequate working levels of consumables and reagents in the lab (including preparation of media, sterile water and disinfectants). You will be responsible for the clearing of non-hazardous waste, assisting with the disposal of hazardous waste, contributing to cleaning and tidying of the labs, ensuring a supply of clean glass ware, monitoring stock levels, document scanning and assisting with laboratory related paperwork..
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level standard or above in a scientific discipline, must be enthusiastic and flexible, well organised as you will be assisting with H&S compliance and be able to maintain stock levels in a methodical manner. This is a prime opportunity for the right candidate to start their career in a laboratory within a company that is growing and can provide career progression.
