We are currently recruiting a Lab Manager to join the operations department of a 24/7 waste treatment plant in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. This new station, using 3 different types of proven technology, will produce electrical power from waste that would otherwise have gone to landfill.

Responsibilities… Reporting to the Sites Operations Manager the Lab Manager will be responsible for Overseeing a team of shift chemist’s / lab technicians across 3 sites, providing technical advice & support to operational staff regarding processing of waste & supporting your lab technicians in the inspection, sample & analysis of various chemicals.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience… To be considered for this position you will need to have a scientific & laboratory background combined with supervisory / management experience. Previous experience in waste management or power generation would be very advantageous.

There is a salary up to £36,000plus benefits with this role
