Salary: £26,000 per year
Midlands based contractor are looking for an individual that has a proven track record delivering schemes as a number 1 on new build industrial/logistics units. The project is worth circa £2 Million and you will be responsible from the pre-construction stage to assist with subcontract orders, programme, design and then the full construction process for a steel portal frame building, concrete floor, cladding and all associated externals/car park areas
You will be reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager but will have full autonomy and control for the day to day running of the project where the main core of duties and responsibilities will include the supervision/control of full compliment of subcontract trades/labour packages, site inductions, Health & Safety, plant/material requistions when required, RAMS as well as chairing and running subcontract and client progress meetings to report back to senior management.
Current/prior experience managing and delivering steel portal frame projects would be preferable but CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid certificates will be a mandatory requrement as no application will be considered without these
