Job Outline:
My client is a world leading supplier of optical instrumentation. Due to recent expansion, they now have a new and exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager.
Based in a home office, you will be responsible for the management of all activities related to achieving target sales for the company’s bioscience product range within North West England and Scotland regions.
The successful candidate will be living of be prepared to relocate to within 1 hours drive of Glasgow and within reasonable driving distance to Liverpool and Manchester.
Travelling to client sites, you will provide consultation and guidance to ensure product requirements are met and customer satisfaction is exceeded. This will include providing product demonstrations.
You will be able to manage your own schedule and liaise with other members of the company to target potential clients and growth.

Qualifications:
Candidates must be degree qualified in Biosciences, experience with live cell imaging is highly desirable.
Experience:
The successful candidate will have experience in the sale of scientific instruments or technical/optical equipment.
Previous experience within a sales / applications environment is crucial.
Additional Information:
Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK.
You must also have a full and current UK driving licence.
