Job Description:

Join a fun and vibrant company as an Automotive Designer. You will work closely with the design team preparing sketches, renderings, and putting together 3D CAD proposals in line with his vision for automotive design.

Candidate Requirements:

You will have gained at least 1 year’s experience in Automotive Design OR have excelled during your automotive/ design related course (a minimum of 2:1 in a Design related degree). The designs will be in line with the company director’s vision for automotive design. You will be using a variety of software from the very latest in computer technology.

• strong problem solving skills
• superior ability to visually communicate through sketches, and renderings
• Ability to think three-dimensionally with a strong emphasis on proportions and a refined sense of form
• Alias 2D, Alias 3D

CAD training/experience in both 2D and 3D is highly desired. Alias 3D, Alias 2D, Photoshop, Illustrator experience preferred.

Experience Required:

1 – 3 years professional design experience (or highly regarded qualification)

Education Required:

Bachelors degree in Design related course (eg Transportation Design or in Industrial Design with emphasis on Transportation Design)
