Salary: £48,000 – £72,000 per year

This exceptional regional housebuilder is looking for an Assistant Planning and Development Manager to assist them with their future growth.

With a reputation for building exquisite homes across many of the Home Counties and into London, this developer prides itself on working closely with its customer whilst providing strong attention to detail and individuality when creating homes of significant quality.

Working alongside the Land Director and the rest of the management team, the Assistant Planning and Development Manager will prepare and submit planning applications and deliver planning consents to agreed timescales in order for the business to succeed in its endeavours. The candidate will also investigate and appraise other areas of suitable sites in the operational area.

This is a fast paced role involving liaising with local planning authorities, estate agencies, local authorities, solicitors and land-owners to drive through the purchasing of sites and obtaining detailed planning consents to enable the business to have sufficient sites on which to operate and grow.

Candidates will have previous experience in a similar capacity, taking responsibility for the submission of planning applications within new build housing as well as in negotiating of section 106 agreements with local planning authorities.

The Assistant Planning and Development Manager will need to be an ambitious, independent working professional with a strong drive for success, overcoming challenges and working as part of a team.

A full driving license is essential.
