We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the leading distributors of consumer products in the Midlands region and a business with a rich heritage and attractive consumer brand found in many of the leading high end multiple retailers across the UK and well as thousands of independent stores across UK and Ireland.

Our client has gone through a major growth in recent years and now turning over circa £45M per annum with plans to take this on further.

They are now looking for a talented Online Copywriter to come in and join their team and lead the creation of robust and compelling digital content for a B2C audience. Although as an organisation they have been a B2B organisation, they have a clear consumer onus and the B2C audience is vital.

This role will be pivotal in creating compelling and engaging online content through third party retailers targeting the consumer market. With an extensive product portfolio within home consumer durables, your role will be to tune into the consumer profile and usage per product and develop creative, accurate and optimised content.

To be considered for this role you will require the following skills and experience:

Clear digital/retail copywriting experience with clear evidence of increasing product sales, traffic and rankings.
Passionate about creative language and an understanding of what makes copy stand out.
Good understanding of SEO and developing content for SEO purposes.
A practical marketer who enjoys working within a fast paced, business orientated environment.
A meticulous eye for checking copy is absolutely essential.
Reactive and flexible with an ability to work to strict deadlines
A good understand of relevant digital trends, tactics and channels.
