A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a specialist Copywriter to join an energetic public relations agency based in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, to support its continuing development.
The agency enjoys an excellent reputation for producing high-quality content across a wide range of different platforms, including social media and content marketing channels. As such this is a great opportunity to develop your copywriting skills in a fun, fast-paced environment with leadership and professional development provided by experienced senior colleagues.
As a Copywriter your duties will include:
• Working as part of a specialist copywriting team to produce a wide range of PR and marketing material for our clients in the business and charitable sectors.
• Conducting telephone, face-to-face and video interviews with clients` customers, staff and other ‘case study` candidates.
• Handling enquiries from the local and national print and broadcast media.
• Co-ordinating public consultation events.
An ideal Copywriter will have the following skills and experience:
• NCTJ or equivalent professional journalism or public relations qualifications.
• Previous professional experience in journalism or public relations.
• An ability to produce high-quality copy in a variety of styles.
• High standards of organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Great interpersonal skills.
• A bright and enthusiastic manner and a positive attitude.
Full training will be provided.
The working hours of this Copywriter role are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, with very occasional evenings and weekends.
In return, the Copywriter will receive a Salary: £26,000 – £28,800per year plus paid overtime.
