Payroll Clerk

Salary: £30,000 – £34,800 per year

We are recruiting a Payroll Clerk on behalf of a Boston based client, this is a permanent full time position. Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with an hour for lunch.

Salary bracket is £30,000 – £34,800DOE.

This position is running a weekly payroll of approx 300+ people working on SAGE 50 payroll, which will include collating and checking various timesheets. Additional duties will include updating and checking the sales ledger, working within the pension modules to support staff pensions, producing invoices for clients, calculating holiday for workers, issuing and dealing with any payroll related correspondence as well as any other duties as required.

Ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, experience working with SAGE 50 payroll and experience with MS Excel, including formulas.

Full training will be given, and this position is working in a small team who share the workload so an overview of the whole business is reached for the benefit of the new applicant as well as the business needs.
