Salary: £33,600 – £36,000 per year
Established in 2014, this wholesale food business supplies the very best local and international fruit and veg, dry & pantry goods, dairy, bakery and specialist products to principally hotels, restaurants & pubs.
As a result of continued expansion, we are now recruiting for a Night Shift Team Leader who will take responsibility for a team of 15 to include two Supervisors, Quality Controllers & Pickers on a five out of seven day rota, one of which will include either a Saturday or Sunday. Hours are from 6pm to either 4 or 5am depending on the needs & demands of the business.
We are seeking a “hands on” leader; approachable, who has the ability to be an empathetic listener to a diverse team, nevertheless a strong character who can inspire loyalty yet understands the pressure to meet deadlines on behalf of the business and their customers.
The ideal applicant may well have experience in the food sector as a QC or QA Supervisor.
For the successful candidate, there is every chance for advancement into the role of Night Manager, taking complete responsibility for the site during their working hours.
