Operations Manager

A fantastic opportunity has come up to join a leading independent financial services company as an Operations Manager to ensure effective management of all operational procedures including risk management making a valuable contribution to company profitability and to implement and maintain excellent standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• To maintain and uphold the highest standards of customer service
• To ensure appropriate practices and procedures are followed to protect the security within the book
• To conduct regular meetings with their teams and be aware of their team’s activities on a weekly basis
• To lead and develop their team to achieve both business and personal objectives
• To maintain client relationships through regular contact, verbally and by personal visits
• To use their understanding of the group and company strategy as a basis for both personal and business decision making
• To ensure that best practice is both shared and implemented within their operating company
• To assist the Directors of their subsidiary company to ensure that the mission statement and core values are understood by the management team and by all members of staff

Requirements of the role:
• Experience- Trade Finance, Operations, Customer Service experience, managing a team
• Skills- Attention to detail, advanced account management

Desirable for the role:
• Experience – managing a team in as financial services environment
• Skills – Presentation skills
• Qualifications- Customer Service, ABFA, management.
