Job Title: Senior Estimator – Architectural Glazing Systems

Remuneration: £54,000 – £60,000

The role of the Senior Estimator – Architectural Glazing Systems will involve:
- Senior estimator position producing estimates for a high end manufactured range of architectural glazing systems such as: aluminium windows and doors, curtain walling, glazing, and rainscreen cladding
- Review tender documents and produce high quality tender returns
- Utilise specialist estimating software (Schueco & Logikal) to determine material costs
- Negotiate prices with supply chain and gather quotations for projects
- Liaise and build relationships with main contractor through the project and beyond
- Ensure that the internal CRM system is regularly updated
- Working as part of an estimating team of 5 supporting others where required
- Prioritise own work load to ensure deadlines are met
The ideal applicant will be a Senior Estimator – Architectural Glazing Systems experience with:
- Must have experience working in an estimating position
- Must have good technical knowledge of the façade industry (curtain walling, windows and doors, glazing, and rainscreens)
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Must be IT literate, ideally familiar with estimating software like Schueco and Logikal
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness
