Our client is a main contractor that operates throughout London and the Home Counties that has been established for nearly 50 years with a turnover in excess £100m per annum. They work with private and public clients producing quality build services to include design and build, new build and refurbishment projects with values ranging from £1.5m to £12m. They have won a number of prestigious awards over the years that has bolstered their excellent reputation and continue to re-invest back within the business and employees to continue with their success.

They are now seeking to appoint a Site Manager/s with D&B experience for projects commencing in London.

Responsibilities;

Reporting to a Contracts Manager, the Site Manager will have full responsibility for the building and production process on site. You will be responsible for:-

Construction phase / short term programming and monitoring.

Practical buildability assessment & input.

Material scheduling and purchase requisitions.

Labour and subcontractor site management & motivation.

Site Management of Health & Safety – risk assessment and method statements etc.

Document Drawing/Information Control

Quality management responsibility on site for the process and final product.

Maintain professional relationships with clients and consultants.

Setting out experience would be beneficial.

You will:

* Have a minimum of five years UK experience as a site manager within the UK

* NVQ Level 4/Degree highly beneficial but not essential

* Experience of managing projects up to £10m as no.1

* CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid

* Excellent communication, motivation and client facing skills

* IT literate

* Full UK Drivers Licence

* Stable work history is an essential requirement for this contractor
