As market leading specialists in providing production line automation software and continuous improvement consultancy, our client transforms manufacturing performance and are long term partners to impressive portfolio of blue chip companies.

Poised for further global expansion, they are keen to build upon their considerable investment in new products and capitalise on significant new market opportunities and are looking to appoint a German speaking Lean Consultant to lead them through a period of tremendous change, opportunity and growth.

The Role

Reporting to a Managing Consultant, you will join their team of operational excellence practitioners and will take total ownership for delivering consultancy and operational excellence projects on client sites focussing on machine and production line improvement.

Key responsibilities include conducting manufacturing audits, analysing data and processes and presenting solutions to clients, finding hidden waste in their manufacturing systems and delivering workshops for continuous improvement techniques such as SMED, Kaizen, six sigma.

The Person

Degree qualified in an engineering discipline or equivalent, you will have extensive experience in a manufacturing environment you will have successfully implemented continuous improvement, lean or six sigma projects at multiple line level and be knowledgeable with SMED, kaizen, waste, 8D etc.

You will understand the importance of people engagements and be able to win the hearts and minds and inspire people to sustain change in their workplace.

You must be bilingual and able to speak English and German.

You could be based anywhere in the UK and will work from home but will be required to travel to client site for completion of projects and spend nights away from home during the week if required.
