Corporate Communications Coordinator

Post reports to: Corporate Communications Section Manager

Outline of position:
An exciting role has become available with Honda of the UK Manufacturing – the important automotive manufacturer who is a global leader in their field.

Working as part of a busy team in a global company, this is an exciting opportunity to use and develop skills across all corporate communication disciplines – from public relations and internal communication to corporate social responsibility.

The successful candidate will embrace and promote change, demonstrate a passion for communicating and engaging audiences and show an ability to cut through complexity to see the bigger picture.

Key responsibilities:

*Craft excellent communication materials for internal and external audiences – from press releases to internal magazine features.
*Work closely with global stakeholders – for example, managing and maintaining relationships with local and national media, government and industry bodies.
*Create inspiring and compelling digital channels which engage both internal and external audiences.
*Play a key role in managing events such as product launches, brand promotion, charity activities, competitions and milestone events.
*Reporting and analysis of communication activities to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
*Support the day to day activities of the corporate communications team, acting as a point of contact, responding to queries and scheduling activities.

Essential Experience:

*Educated to degree or equivalent level in a relevant discipline.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Exceptional attention to detail.
*Previous experience of working in a fast-paced communications/event/marketing/PR environment, preferably in the corporate sector.
*Excellence in the use of the Power Point, Excel and Word.
