Salary: £36,000 – £45,600 per year
My client, a market leading multidisciplinary Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Rivers and Coastal Engineer to join their Water Team based in Reading.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Engineering (including a BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering) and have experience working within a UK based Consultancy completing detailed Civil Engineering Design, Delivering Hydropower Projects, Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Defence Strategies, Drainage Strategy and River Restoration.
It is also essential for applicants to be proficient in AutoCAD and have experience preparing Contracts and Specifications in respect of NEC Suite and CESWI.
It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience managing budgets and projects and mentoring junior team members.
Typically the role will involve the following;
-Flood Defence and Water Management Projects.
-Hydropower and River Restoration Projects.
-Flood Risk Assessments.
-Flood Alleviation Schemes and Drainage Strategy.
-Condition Survey Reports.
-Design and Develop Sustainable Infrastructure Solutions.
-Site Supervision.
-Contract Preparation.
-Project and Budget Management.
-Mentoring and Training Junior Team Members.
-Frequent Liaison with Private Sector Clients and Business Associates.
