Nursery Manager

Salary: £45,600 per year

Our clients lovely purpose built nursery in Bath is looking for a very experienced Nursery Manager to join them in overseeing the day to day running of their busy setting. You will need to be an experienced Nursery Manager, have taken a nursery setting through an Ofsted Inspection, together with a passion to support their team and setting. Great salary c£45,600plus together with benefits and including parking on site.

Requirements

• Have a minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years / Childcare
• Have at least 6 years’ previous experience of working in a Day Nursery
• Have at least 2 years’ experience of leading and supporting teams
• Have at least 2 years’ experience of managing the overall day to day running of a Nursery setting
• Have excellent knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum and working with children 0 – 5 years
• Proven track record in supporting settings in Ofsted Inspections, together with internal / external audits
• Have experience in all areas of nursery management i.e. Staffing, finance, health & safety, appraisals etc
• Excellent understanding of marketing and supporting the occupancy within the Nursery
• Proactive with the ability to take initiative and make sound decisions
• To be motivated and able to motivate children and staff
• Working as part of a team and being supportive as a team player
• Have excellent written and verbal English
• An ability to work on own initiative
• A desire to excel and willingness to develop your skills and build a solid career in child care
