Salary: £72,000 – £78,000 per year
A nation-wide based business is looking to appoint a Financial Controller to join their thriving business. This position is a newly created role within the finance function due to their continued success within their field. The past two years have seen this company increase their UK footprint and as such are now looking for someone to take on the responsibility of the financial control for the UK Group. In addition to this being a newly created position this role will be developed into a Board level position with a promotion within the next 2 years.
Financial Controller – About the Role
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller you will ensure that efficient financial control and reporting controls are adhered to, both on an internal and external basis. This position will be overseeing a significant amount of legal entities all based within the UK.
This position will be working for an evolving branded business within Farnborough that have strong work ethics and principles within their given industry. You will be given the autonomy within this position to oversee the financial control and reporting whilst ensure development of the team, but also the financial processes and systems. Your responsibilities will incorporate the following:
* Own, manage and develop the financial accounting processes
* Manage and oversee the month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting and controls
* Annual Statutory accounts production and audit management for the Group
* Treasury management
* Payroll management
* VAT calculations and submissions
* Group performance reporting
* Managing stakeholders
* Cash-flow management and analysis
* Budgeting and forecasting for the Group

The successful Financial Controller will have:
* CIMA / ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified
* Experience of working at similar level for a minimum period of 2 years
* Advanced level in Excel, BI reporting
