Joiner / Wood Machinist

JOINER/WOOD MACHINIST

We are looking for an experienced Joiner/Wood Machinist to join our busy Joinery Team in Larling, Norfolk.

Candidates must be reliable with a can do attitude, and have a flexible approach to working time to meet production demands and peak workloads. You must also be a team player with the ability to use your own initiative, and have a keen eye for detail and accuracy in order to produce good quality work.

From time to time you will be required to work overtime or split shifts as follows:

Early Shift: 7.00 am – 3.30 pm
Late Shift: 11.30 am – 8.00 pm

We are looking for candidates with the following practical skills and experience:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
– Carpentry/Joinery/Wood Machinist qualification
– Good knowledge of woodworking machinery with experience working on woodworking machines (ability to use CNC machine and Copy Lathe would be an advantage)
– Good knowledge of cabinetry (drawer runners, hanging doors, mortices and tenons)
– Experience working with laminates
– Experience in manufacturing and assembly
– Ability to take accurate measurements
– Manual handling knowledge (some lifting required)
– Any other duties as required by Warings Furniture Limited

We are located in a rural area so must have own transport.

Warings Furniture manufactures and supplies furniture to the hospitality industry at our manufacturing and production workshops in Larling, Norfolk.
