Logistics Coordinator

Salary: £28,800 per year

Mercury Talent are delighted to be recruiting for a Logistics Co-ordinator for a growing company specialising in bespoke security solutions. A competitive salary of up to £28,800is on offer with excellent opportunities for progression with the company.

The Logistics coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the engineers schedule and ensuring the relevant stock is sent to them in time for project completion.

The Logistics key responsibilities will be:

* Liaise with technical engineers to manage their diary and project workload

* Organise distribution of stock to the customer site in line with work schedule

* Plan installations and service for field engineers

* You will own the process from planning the job right through to sending stock and communicating with engineers to ensure the jobs are on track.

* Updating CRM MS Dynamics as required

The successful candidate for this Logistics Coordinator role will have some experience in a role that requires multitasking, coordination and planning. You don’t have to have technical expertise however excellent communication and the ability to work well under pressure and prioritise your workload is essential. A background in stock delegation is desirable but not essential. A geographical knowledge of the UK would be beneficial to assist with effective route planning for the field service team.
