Post Room Operator
A great role as become available for an experienced Post room operator to join a leading facilities and engineering company in Cheshire
Contract: Temporary
Duration: 1 Month
Start date: Immediate
Key responsibilities include
• Responsibility for unlocking and locking buildings, setting burglar alarms and undertaking routine security patrols
• collecting mail to and from departments on site
• Keep records of all incoming and outgoing mail for audit purposes Operating post room equipment i.e. scales, franking machines and reporting faults as necessary
• Order and distribute stationery to site as required
• Observe Health & Safety regulations at all times
• Dealing with general enquiries
• Arranging room bookings
• Booking couriers and taxies as requested by staff
• Receipt and dispatch of small parcels via courier services
• Sorting and distributing incoming and internal post
• Processing outgoing mail including operation of the franking machine
• Providing special postal services such as recorded delivery
• Receiving and recording deliveries
• Undertaking conference room set up for meetings
• Monitoring and restocking vending machines
• Ordering supplies
• Visiting local stores to buy supplies of fresh items for vending sales
• Carrying out routine checks and inspection of facilities and equipment

• To report on duty on time and on the days scheduled.
• Any other reasonable task or duty assigned by the management team.
