Entry Level Derivatives Traders / Trainee Traders

Route One Recruitment is working with one of London’s largest proprietary trading firms who have a trading floor based in the heart of the square mile. They are currently seeking five dynamic entry level traders to trade a mix of fixed income, short-term interest rate, indices, energy, fx and interest rate futures and options across European, US and emerging markets.

Trainees will join a team within the firm and receive two months of intense full time mentoring prior to live trading across economics, market theory, technical analysis, risk management and trade strategy execution.

Whilst no backgrounds are excluded, serious candidates looking to make a living in professional trading are wanted only. Our client is not a `pay to train’ prop firm – successful candidates are screened intensely through a two interview format and will be given access to live exchange trading.
